Gospel Good News T3 Week8
Jesus said, "For it is within, from the human heart ..." Mark 7:21
When we put the word heart into a sentence people always believe something good will happen or has happened, or that we really mean what we are saying;
"I love you with all my heart."
"I did that favour with all my heart."
"It is with heartfelt regret that I have to tell you ..........."
"You must have a hearty breakfast before you leave."
We cannot actually 'see' our hearts only God can see the secrets we keep in our hearts. He sees the richness that others miss, He sees what we do and what we fail to do, He also sees the pride we might hide when we are being generous. To keep our hearts good and faithful we must radiate Gods love and compassion from the inside out. We must give people the vision of our hearts through our words, actions and behaviour.
What can God see in you and those around you that is not visible to the human eye?

Gospel Good News T3 Week7
Jesus said to the twelve, "What about you? Do you want to go away to?" Simon Peter answered, "Lord, who shall we go to?" (John 6:63-68)
There are times when we all want to walk away from or feel like walking away from some situation, a person or people, decisions and even our faith in God. Without faith in God and in each other, who do we go to?
At the children's Reconciliation Scrament on Tuesday and Wednesday this week the final song that was played and the song the children and their parents reflected on as part of their preparation for this wonderful celebration was, 'I will follow Him', probably best remembered from Sister Act and Whoopi Goldberg and her Rockin' Sisters! I could not find a good YouTube clip for that one but I did find this reflective one below - I hope you like it!
Will you "Follow Him?"
